Welcome to The Pointe at Heritage Oak, a small, family-owned Texas Longhorn ranch nestled in Winterville, North Carolina. Our journey is rooted in generations of admiration for this iconic American breed, and what began as a childhood dream has grown into a lifelong passion we now share as a family.
From an early age, I was drawn to the beauty, resilience, and distinct character of Texas Longhorns. I spent countless hours on my grandfather’s and uncle’s farms, both of which had herds that left a lasting impression on me. It was during those years—exploring pastures, learning about cattle, and observing the unique qualities of the Longhorn—that the dream of owning my own herd took root.
Now, more than 30 years later, that dream has become a reality. With the unwavering support of my wife and our three daughters, we've founded The Pointe at Heritage Oak. What started as a personal vision has evolved into a family-run operation where love for the breed, dedication to quality, and stewardship of the land come together.
We are proud to raise and manage a carefully selected herd of registered Texas Longhorns, with a focus on structure, temperament, color, and horn. Our strategic breeding program is designed not only to preserve the heritage of the Longhorn but to strengthen it—producing cattle that are both visually striking and genetically sound.
